Social media work for Baptist World Aid Australia

The brief: To raise the profile of their Child Sponsorship program

The solution? With a limited budget and a somewhat saturated market for child sponsorship, we needed a different approach. We came up with the '$1.40 Challenge' - for one day the staff would spend no more than $1.40 on lunch. It costs $1.40 per day to sponsor a child, and the lunch was to show that $1.40 doesn't get you much in Australia but it can make a huge difference to sponsored children and their communities.

Work done:
- Scripted, organised, filmed and edited video
- Promoted video through YouTube, Facebook and Twitter
- Advised client on future directions with both social media and SEO

The result: The $1.40 challenge was picked up by a Sydney radio station and a local newspaper. The YouTube video continues to raise the awareness of Baptist World Aid Australia.
